What parents ask us first.
No sales script. These are the real questions from real parents — answered the same way we’d answer them on the phone.
01 What actually happens at the GPS Blueprint?
A full performance assessment: force, sprint, and strength testing. You leave with your athlete’s archetype, their priority qualities, and a prescribed plan — which program, how many sessions per week, and what to train first. It’s $199, and the full amount is credited when you enroll. If you walk out without total clarity on what your athlete needs, it’s free and the report is still yours.
02 How do I know the training is actually working?
You don’t have to take our word for it — that’s the point. Every athlete is re-tested biweekly, six times per 12-week block, and you get a growth-adjusted progress report each time: your athlete’s gains measured against what growing up alone would have delivered. Progress is proven in numbers, not promised in adjectives.
03 What if my athlete doesn’t improve?
Then you don’t pay. Three written guarantees back every block: the Blueprint is free if you leave without knowing exactly what your athlete needs; measurable improvement in priority qualities by Week 12 (with 90%+ attendance and tracking) or they train free until there is; and if gains don’t beat growth alone, that block is free. We control the measurement, so we can carry the risk.
04 What ages do you work with?
Group training runs in two tracks — Emerging Athlete (ages 8–12) and Athlete Development (13+, through high school and college) — plus fully individualized 1-on-1 coaching at any level. The Blueprint tells us which track fits, and younger athletes get stage-appropriate programming, not a scaled-down adult plan.
05 How much of a time commitment is it?
Most athletes train 2–3 sessions per week, but the honest answer comes out of the Blueprint — the right dose depends on your athlete’s sport, season, and priorities. Training runs in 12-week blocks so the commitment is always clear before you start.
06 We’re not local — can we still train with GPS?
Yes. Online training delivers individualized, app-tracked programming built from the same tested GPS methodology, with video review and coach feedback wherever you are.
07 Do you work with athletes in my sport?
Yes. The qualities we develop — speed, force production, change of direction, movement quality — transfer across sports, and the assessment tells us which ones your athlete needs most. GPS athletes have gone on to 30+ collegiate programs and into NHL, AHL and MLB organizations. Book a free consult and we’ll talk through your athlete’s sport and season specifically.
08 Do you train athletes who already lift with their school team?
Yes — it’s one of the most common situations we handle. We’re not trying to replace the school program or stack extra volume on top of it. The assessment shows what their in-season load is already covering and what it isn’t, and we program around it so the two fit together instead of competing.
09 Do I need to commit to a long contract?
No. Start with a free consult, or with the $199 Blueprint assessment, which is credited in full when you enroll. Training then runs in 12-week blocks, so the commitment is always clear before you start.
